Why FBA Sellers Need Freight Shipping

If you're an Amazon FBA seller shipping more than a few boxes, small parcel shipping (UPS/FedEx) gets expensive fast. LTL freight shipping can save 30-50% on larger shipments going to Amazon fulfillment centers.

Key Tips for FBA LTL Shipments

  • Use Amazon BOL — Always use the BOL generated by Amazon Seller Central, not your carrier's BOL.
  • Label every box — Each box needs an FBA label. Missing labels = delays and fees.
  • Palletize properly — Amazon has strict pallet requirements: 40"x48" standard pallets, max 72" height including pallet, shrink-wrapped.
  • Book appointment — Most Amazon FCs require delivery appointments. Factor this into your timeline.
  • Know your FC — Different fulfillment centers have different requirements. Check Amazon's carrier requirements page.
